Covid-19: Patient Information

We want you to feel safe when under our care. On top of diligent hand hygiene, robust cleaning procedures between appointments, restricting the footfall in the clinic, and our staff wearing regulated PPE (mask, goggles, apron, and gloves), we have provided the following guidance for all our patients who may be attending an appointment at our clinic. We encourage you to this read prior to attending. This information will also be sent to you by email when you book your appointment. 


* Please note that by attending for a face-to-face consultation, there is in an increased risk of infection. We will do everything we can to minimise the risk.


*If you develop symptoms of a persistent cough, fever, loss of taste/smell, have had direct contact with someone in the last 14 days infected with Covid-19, or your medical history changes prior to attending the practice, then please phone to update us and do not attend


*Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your appointment time. Please contact us before entering the premises and please sanitise your hands using the provided sanitiser in the waiting room.


*Please note due to current social distance requirements please where possible attend ALONE.


*A parent/guardian/carer MAY attend. However, they will be required to undertake the same Covid screening process.


*If someone is driving you to the practice, they must NOT come into the practice with you.


*Respectfully  please if possible shower before attending.


*If you are visibly sweating, you may be asked to leave the practice and further arrangements made.


*Please wear an appropriate face covering; please note your clinician will be wearing appropriate PPE.


*No food or drink to be consumed within the practice.


*Please remove jewellery/watches before attending the practice.


*Please note that late attendance may require your appointment to be rescheduled.


*Please note that under the current restrictions we advise that washroom facilities are locked and may only be used in an emergency
